In modern environment, physical barriers should not be the factor to delivering education to learners anywhere, anytime in the universe. ZUBTES believes in Albert Einstein’s philosophy of, “Omni-ology Empowerment through Self- Learning.” Thus, our Directorate of distance learning has received much support from collaborating partners in terms of materials, equipment, and other resources.
• Students Study Materials and Support
DL students shall receive university study manuals on each module covering the full syllabi contents of their courses. In addition, all students will be supplied with branded university IT equipments (note pads) for use during their study programmes with ZUBTES whose costs are embedded in tuition fees.
• Residential Schools
All DL students shall attend their residential school once per semester at either provincial or district level depending with their locality of their homes. The object is to support learners receive direct tutorial lectures in the areas of their studies from faculties and departments before they seat for exams in addition to their assessment programmes through tests and assignments. The idea is to take education closer to our learners as much as possible in order to cut down on costs which they cannot afford.
Residential school programmes shall be sent to all registered students and pre-determined time tables and dates when each province or district shall hold its residential school will be included in the procure.
